Torah for every generation

Welcome to Sunfela, where making the Torah understandable to anyone is the whole reason we exist. We're a small team who kept meeting the same problem: people who wanted to read the Torah, tried, and quietly gave up somewhere in Genesis. Not because they lacked faith. Because nobody had ever taught them how to read it.

We believe understanding should not depend on knowing Hebrew, having a teacher, or growing up in it. So we spent years building a guide that walks through all 54 Parashot in plain English, with illustrations, maps, charts and timelines for every story.

Made properly, or not at all

Every page was written to be followed by a ten year old and still worth reading at sixty. The full book was reviewed by a practising Orthodox rabbi before printing, because getting this right matters more to us than getting it out fast.

We print in hardcover with large, clear type, and we check every order before it leaves us. We read the messages our readers send, and the book has changed more than once because of them.
